Emily and Scott’s Wedding
November 9th 2013
Emily and Scott celebrated their wedding in Tumut, NSW. Luckily the rain held off for them and the day was spectacular. They were married in the Catholic Church, with their reception held at the Golf Course. To my surprise the Golf Course was an amazing location to shoot! Donna and I had a fantastic time picking out locations for the lovely bridal party and had a ball photographing them. Thanks for letting up capture your special day! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved taking snaps of such a beautiful couple!

A photo set from Mark and Simone’s 3 year anniversary shoot, they’re too cute.
Andrew’s Mexican 18th
50+ 18 year old playing wizards, in ponchos, and eating nachos, needless to say it was quite an experience. It was brilliant having lots of people asking for photos, and in turn got some great results! It was also nice to get take some band photos again, thanks Miss Nicholls and Winter Lexia !
Promotional Photos - Georgia Madigan | Make Up Artist 2012
I’ve known Georgia since we were five years old, and I always remember being a tad jealous of her blond hair and gentle nature. Luckily, 18 years on Georgia and I are friends, even though I’m still little jealous as her business flourished with her amazing make up skills, and I struggle to buy the right foundation.
Georgia and I decided to help each other out, she let me practice taking commissioned photos, and I gave her the photos to help promote her business. She was amazing to work with, and I still can’t believe her knowledge and talent in what she does. Here’s a link to her facebook page so you can check out more of her stuff - Georgia Madigan | Make Up Artist
Promotional Photos - Black Cat Gallery 2011
The Black Cat Gallery was a local Tumut business up until 2012. Located in The Connection, The Black Cat supplied new, used and up-cycled products. I took some shots of The Black Cat for the owner to show off her fabulous stock and great store, take a look!
My first wedding for Kater May Photography! Unlike the brides calm manner from the moment I walked in, I was a mixture of nerves and excitement, but mainly nerves. How does one properly capture the love and joy of someone’s most memorable day?! Luckily once the camera was in my hand I felt at home again and started snapping.
It was an amazing day, the bride and groom were insanely content and smiles never left their faces. The ceremony was held at Saint Johns Anglican Church in Corowa, followed by an evening at All Saint’s winery. A room filled with wine barrels, pages from Jane Austen, wonderful musicians and two people who couldn’t look more in love, safe to say everyone’s been raving about it since.
So, I thought it was time I made my first blog post, to break up the work, share some things I like, show some of the work I do outside of business.
Despite the fact that I hate snow and being cold with a passion I went up to the Sugar Pine Walk, to stand in awe at it’s beauty, also because I hadn’t been there in forever. And it was definitely worth having numb fingers while trying to take photos.
The Sugar Pine Walk is plantation that’s about 80 year’s old. The trees were planted in straight lines making it overwhelming upon entering, and a beautiful place to photograph. Here’s a link to the tag on Flickr so you can check it when it’s not snowing.
Anyway, here are my photos -
The near by plantations are currently under going harvesting, I dug their signage.
At the end of the walk, I’ve always had a fascination with that log.
The colour’s were absolutely amazing ! I can never get over how gorgeous it is.
A wonderful evening at the Richards’ with magaritas ! They didn’t want too many set up shots so it allowed me to get a bit artsy :)
